A place to be yourself
Great read Tammie!
I guess I am the odd woman out (or just odd woman in general! LOL!!!) on #28. I love old things, but I kind of have this evaluation process before I buy it. Things that belonged to somebody I loved I especially like to have. Other stuff I have to kind of touch, maybe listen to before I buy it. You know, open the drawers, stick my head in, that sort of thing. I bought this china hutch from the 1930's a few years ago. Nothing fancy. Pretty wood, had different wood grain veneer on various parts. It has some kind of art deco decorations on the cabinet doors. I could feel that the people who had it before me were of modest means, probably saved for a long time to buy it, and were very proud of it, because it's been very well cared for. I have an old dresser in our bedroom that my brother gave me. He bought some river property, and there was cottage that needed to be torn down, and it was furnished with all antiques and old stuff. Not all of it was in good shape, but this dresser just needed a good cleaning. That dresser has a good vibe because it was in a place where people went to go and relax. So it's important to "kick the tires" before you buy something. Even if you are just pretending to make sure the drawers, etc. don't stick!
Naw Roma am odd to...LOL...tho I would say that the value of 28 would fall on things of a spitual nature or tools used in a ritual way, but things can be cleaned and the old spirit per say or negative energies can be renewed. I have even done that with second hand furniture just said a bessing used salt or sage and carried on...
Blessings and great article Tammie thanks fer sharing
I saw this one already. I saved it to my computer the moment I read it.
Wow reading this really amazed me! I am the same way as Roma on #28 though. I love her description of having to "kick the tires"!
Sometimes I actually kick it! LOL!!!
The music thing....does anybody else's iPod (or music collection) seem to have Multiple Personality Disorder? LOL!!! I have heavy metal, blues, a little R & B, some progressive rock, Southern rock, and a little rockabilly. I will admit, sometimes when I have it on shuffle, when it goes from Dio fronted Back Sabbath right into Ike and Tina Turner, my head explodes a little. LOL!!!
lol Yes I have a strange collection of tunes as well. Gotta love diversity.
Hahah thank goodness it's not just me. I have every kind of music on my ipod besides like screaming heavy metal angry music. Generally I gravitate to happy & upbeat, peaceful or just plain beautiful music- it could be any genre though. This includes just about everything from nicki minaj to beethoven and other classical music. LOL
There are a couple I don't fit the bill. I'm not overweight, in fact I suffer from a secondary form of anorexia due to my panic attacks, which anxiety/panick attacks and depression should be #31 :) If the panic attacks are severe enough I will barely eat. And drop 5 pounds within a week. So I have to be careful. I do like chicken and beef and I also like second hand things. In fact, when I go thrift store shopping, I have to be careful so I am not purchasing things just because I am drawn to the energy attached to it. There have been quite a few time when I would buy something just because I felt drawn to it and get it home and ask myself why I bought it because it was hideous, lol. Then I would start reading the energy and realize it was the energy not the object I was drawn to. So now I walk around the store with it for at least 15 minutes so I can get a better read on it and figure out if it is something I really like or is it just the energy. I also noticed that I am drawn to people in pain, and the objects I am drawn to has alot of emotional pain attached to it which that energy also changes the energy in my home, so I am more cautious now:)
Number 32 should also be reflection. Not only do Empooath's channel the energy they receive, but we are often mioorror reflections of the person we are channeling and we reflect it back to the person, though I dont think the person often see;s it,lol.
Overall it is a great list! Thank you for sharing!!
